Impact of Extended Reality on Architecture Students’ Interest, Self-Efficacy, and Learning Performance
Extended Reality (XR) technologies, including augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), are increasingly being integrated into architectural education to enhance learning experiences. This research investigates how XR tools influence architecture students’ interest, self-efficacy, and academic performance through two longitudinal, mixed-methods studies. By examining both short-term and course-long implementations, the study aims to provide empirical insights into the pedagogical value of XR in architectural learning environments.
